The Bihar board scrutiny process caters to candidates who are dissatisfied with the recently declared Bihar board inter 2024 results and seek to have their exam copies rechecked for potential score improvements. Similarly, the BSEB compartment exams are designed for students classified under the compartment category.
The application links for both BSEB inter scrutiny and compartment exams will remain accessible until April 4. The BSEB Class 12 compartment exam dates are not announced yet. The revised results following the BSEB Class 12 inter-compartment exams are scheduled to be declared by May 31, the board said while announcing the Class 12 result.
The Bihar board results, announced on March 23, were conducted between March 23 and April 4, 2024. The pass percentage this year increased to 87.21 per cent for all the streams combined. The pass percentages in science, arts, commerce and vocational are 87.80 per cent, 86.15 per cent, 94.88 per cent and 85.38 per cent respectively.
This year, a total of 12,91,684 students appeared for the exam, out of which 11,26,439 successfully passed. As many as 1,63,216 students failed the intermediate examination this year.
Last year, the Inter (Class 12) compartment exam result was declared on May 31. A total of 56,061 students participated in the exam, with 34,792 candidates clearing it. The overall pass percentage stood at 62.06 per cent for Bihar Board compartment exam last year. Specifically, the pass percentages for the arts, commerce, and science streams were 63.51 per cent, 71.65 per cent, and 60.46 per cent respectively.
