The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has updated the vacancy list for the Bihar Integrated 71st Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2025. The recruitment drive, which was earlier notified for 1,250 posts across various departments, has now been expanded to 1,264 vacancies following the addition of 14 posts for Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
As per the latest update issued on June 16, 2025, the Home Department (Police Branch), Bihar, Patna, has sent a requisition to include the DSP vacancies, which are among the most sought-after roles in the BPSC CCE recruitment cycle. Notably, no vacancy had initially been announced for the DSP or Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) roles in the earlier notification.
