The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has launched its new website. The BPSC website is now bpscpat.bihar.gov.in. The commission, while, announcing the launch of the new website, also said that the old website – bpsc.bihar.gov.in will continue to function.
A BPSC statement issued in this regard said: “Now you can view all advertisements, notifications, exam dates, and updates related to the commission on the new website: bpscpat.bihar.gov.in. The old website – bpsc.bihar.gov.in continues to function as before.”
The commission has asked the candidates to follow only the commission’s authorised websites and social media handles for authentic information.
The new BPSC website home page has a ‘What’s New’ section with the latest information, some quick links for applications, results, answer keys and admit cards. At the bottom of the home page, BPSC has also ‘important announcement’ section. The BPSC new website homepage also has tabs for advertisements, online application, view marksheet and invitation letters.
The BPSC new website also has a frequently asked question (FAQ) section where questions, including how to apply for different posts advertised by BPSC, how to retrieve an email OTP, whether changes can be made to personal or academic details, and how to download admit cards or find exam dates are answered. It even covers issues like duplicate payments, prohibited items in the exam hall, and accessing past exam details and results.
It also provides detailed statistical information on vacancies announced and candidates recommended to BPSC. Between April 1, 2022, and March 31, 2023, a total of 9,451 vacancies were advertised, and 2,981 recommendations were made. From April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, the number of recommendations rose significantly to 2,23,152. For the period between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025, a total of 1,35,625 vacancies were announced, with 1,12,173 recommendations made.
The new website of the Commission, as of now, features archives of all notices, programmes, interviews, results, and advertisements announced by BPSC in 2024.
