UGC NET Provisional Answer Likely to Be Released Today at ugcnet.nta.ac.in Step-by-Step Guide to Check

UGC NET Provisional Answer Key 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer keys for the UGC NET June session examination today. Observing the past trends of the Agency, it releases the provisional answer keys within a week of the completion of the exam. NTA has not yet updated the students on when the provisional answer scripts will be issued.

Once they are released, candidates who appeared for the exam can check them from the official website–ugcnet.nta.ac.in– by logging in to their dashboard using application number, date of birth and Captcha code.

In the December session, the provisional answer keys were released on February 1 for the exams that were held between January 3 and 27. This year, the June session was conducted between June 25 and 29 for the candidates who want to be eligible for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as an assistant professor, and admission to PhD courses in India.

UGC NET June 2025: How to download

Step 1: Visit the official website–ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: Log in using credentials like application number, date of birth and Captcha code.

Step 3: Download the answer script provided by the NTA, and download your answer script also.

Step 4: Candidates have to match the answer script using the question ID provided.

Step 5: In case of objections, candidates will have to select the answer they find correct and have to attach a PDF for the evidence supporting their claim

Step 6: Once done, pay the fees and download the receipt.

Candidates have to remember that every objection raised by them will cost Rs 200 per question, which will not be refunded to the students, in case their objection is found right. Students need to know that a single PDF has to be made for all the questions claimed by the candidate. These claims must not be from any unverified website but should be from recognised publishers or books.

The UGC NET exam was conducted for 83 different subjects, including Hindi, English, French, Spanish, sociology, visual arts, mass communication and journalism and more. The question paper was in English and Hindi medium only except for the language papers and each question carried two marks. There was no negative marking for any wrong attempts.
