MAH MCA CET 2025 counselling registration begins; eligibility, fees | Education News

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MAH CET) Monday announced the counselling dates against the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for first-year postgraduation professional technical courses in Master of Computer Applications (MCA) admissions 2025-2026. Candidates can check and download the MAH MCA CET counselling schedule from cetcell.mahacet.org and mca2025.mahacet.org.in.

As per the counselling schedule, candidates can register online and upload documents for admission on the website between June 30 and July 9. Document verification and confirmation of application form for admission is set to start on July 1 and continue till July 10 (5 pm). The provisional merit list for Maharashtra and all India candidates will be made available on July 13.

Candidates will also have the provisional to submit grievances against the provisional merit list between July 14 and 16. The final merit list will be announced on July 18.

Candidates who have registered for MAH-MCA-CET 2025 are not required to pay any fees for registration for admission. However, other candidates belonging to NRI/ OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries, Foreign National Candidates are required to pay fees as prescribed by Competent Authority. Fees paid is non-refundable.

Application fee for candidates belonging to the General Category rom Maharashtra, outside Maharashtra state (OMS), Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant candidates is Rs 1,200, while it is Rs 1,000 for reserved category candidates [SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, EWS, SEBC], PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only and orphan and transgender (other) candidates.

The candidates under Maharashtra state, all India candidature, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh candidatures should have passed any graduation degree preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at the graduation level and obtained at least 50 per cent marks (at least forty five per cent. in case of candidates of reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to the Maharashtra State) in the qualifying examination and should have obtained non zero score in MAH MCA CET 2025.
