IBPS PO Recruitment 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has started the registration to recruit 5208 vacancies for probationary officers, management trainees in various participating banks. Those interested can apply in the IBPS PO application form at ibps.in, by selecting the ‘new registration’.
The registration, along with the payment deadline for IBPS PO, will end on July 21. Students will get a chance till August 5 to print their application form.
The mobile number and email ID registered in the application form should be active and maintained by the candidate till the conclusion of the recruitment process, as mentioned in the notification.
IBPS PO 2025: Vacancies
There are various participating banks like Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, among others. These are the following vacancies in the banks:
Bank of Baroda: 1000
Bank of India: 700
Bank of Maharashtra: 1000
Canara Bank: 1000
Central Bank of India: 500
Indian Overseas Bank: 450
Punjab National Bank: 200
Punjab and Sind Bank: 358
Banks like UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, and Indian Bank have not reported their vacancies in their notification.
IBPS PO 2025: Eligibility criteria
Interested applicants should meet the eligibility criteria, like they should be a citizen of the country. Candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s in any discipline with a minimum of 60 per cent or equivalent. Final year students are not eligible to apply for this recruitment cycle.
The age limit is 20 to 30 years as of the cut-off date (typically August 1). Additionally, age relaxation rules of the central government apply for reserved categories (e.g., SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years).

IBPS PO 2025: Application fees
Application fees and intimation charges for the online payment for the form are Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD candidates and 850 (inclusive of GST) for all others. Additionally, the bank transaction charges for the online payment of application fees and intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidates.
IBPS PO 2025: How to apply
Here is the step-by-step procedure to apply:
Step 1: Visit the official website–ibpsreg.ibps.in.
Step 2: Select new registration for new applicants, and already registered candidates in the previous cycle can use their credentials to log in.
Step 3: Fill in the application form, and add scanned documents in the prescribed formats.

Step 4: Fill out the fee and download the application form.
Admission to the examination will be purely provisional without verification of eligibility documents. Ineligible candidates will not be allowed to interview. The candidates who have opted for the services of a scribe in the online application form will be required to fill in the details of the scribe at the time of downloading the examination call letter.
For candidates applying under the EWS category, the certificate should be valid for the year 2025-26 for the financial year 2024-25. For candidates applying under the OBC (NCL) category, the OBC (Non-creamy layer) certificate should be issued on or after 01.04.2025 till the date of the interview.
