The National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to announce an update on the result date of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) exam. Candidates who have appeared for this year’s CUET UG exam between May 13 and June 4, will be able to check the result and download the scorecard from the official website – cuet.nta.nic.in, when released.
As many 13,54,699 applicants await CUET UG result. In addition to the result, the NTA will also release the final answer key. The result for CUET UG 2025 will be announced based on the final answer keys. No grievance with regard to answer keys after the declaration of result of CUET UG 2025 will be entertained. NTA had already released the provisional answer keys on June 17 and allowed the candidates to raise grievances against them by June 20.
A merit list will be prepared by the CUET UG participating universities, institutes or organisations. Universities may conduct their individual counselling based on the scorecard of CUET UG 2025 provided by NTA.
This year, the CUET UG exam pattern has been revised, and changes were introduced in exam duration, mode of examination, and number of subjects. The exam were held in CBT mode with three sections. Section 1 comprised 13 languages, while sections 2 and 3 included 23 domain subjects and the general aptitude test respectively. The exam was divided into three parts carrying objective type multiple choice questions. NTA had also revised the question paper pattern of the accountancy test. The revision in the question paper pattern is made to achieve convergence between the notified syllabus and the design of the question paper.

Last year, CUET UG was conducted in a hybrid (CBT and pen and paper) on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, and 24 for about 13.48 lakh candidates. The result was declared on July 28.
In 2023, CUET UG result was declared on July 15 and the exams were held from May 21 to June 3, while in 2022, the CUET UG result was announced on September 15 for the exams held between July 15 and August 20.
