JEECUP Counselling 2025: The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh, today commenced the JEECUP Counselling 2025 registrations for round one. Qualified candidates can apply for choice filling through the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in, using their application number and password. The deadline for filling course and college choices is July 2, and the round 1 seat allotment results will be declared on July 3.
The UPJEE (Polytechnic) is a state-level entrance exam for admission to diploma programmes in engineering, technology, and management offered by government and private polytechnic institutes across Uttar Pradesh.

Candidates can follow these steps to register
Step 1 – Visit the official website of JEECUP – jeecup.admissions.nic.in
Step 2 – Select the choice filling link available on the homepage
Step 3 – Log in using the necessary credentials
Step 4 – Candidates are requested to carefully read and follow the provided instructions
Step 5 – Select the choice of course and college in order

Step 6 – Click on the submit button and download the confirmation page.
The counselling enables seat allocation into participating institutes based on a candidate’s rank, course preferences, and seat availability. Only candidates who meet or exceed the prescribed cut-off marks will be able to participate in the counselling rounds.
After seat allotment, candidates will need to participate in document verification at district help centres and pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 3,000 to confirm their admission. The counselling process will consist of multiple rounds.
Candidates are requested to bring the following documents for verification at the help centre – JEECUP 2025 admit card, seat allotment letter, mark sheet of class 10 and 12, character certificate, 2 passport size photos, domicile and reservation category certificate if applicable.

Meanwhile, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the round 3 seat allocation results at 5 pm on June 28.
JoSAA Counselling provides a platform for seat allocation of candidates aiming for admission in 127 institutions across the country, including 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur and 26 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and 46 other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).
