SSC Constable (GD) 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the final result for Constable (General Duty) posts on June 17. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their scorecards at the official website – ssc.gov.in or ssc.nic.in

The SSC this year conducted exams for 53,690 vacancies in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). 

The exams to these posts were held between February 4 and 25, 2025. Candidates who have qualified for the written test will have to appear for physical tests.

The recruitment process consists of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination and Document Verification. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their state, area and category on their merit in the CBT mode. This year the CBE was conducted by the commission in 13 regional languages, apart from English and Hindi.

Step 3: View and download the result

Of the total 53,690 posts available as part of this recruitment, as many as 16,571 posts were for the CISF, 16,371 posts for the BSF, 14,359 posts are for the CRPF, 3,468 for ITBP, 1,865 for AR and 902 for SSB.

The final SSC GD marks will be calculated based on the scores obtained in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE). Each correct answer will earn 2 marks, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. SSC GD aspirants who are shortlisted must have their documents verified to join the respective departments.

According to the SSC pay matrix, the post of Sepoy in NCB has a pay range of Rs 18,000 to 56,900, while for other posts, the pay level is 3, with Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.
