The Supreme Court has today directed that the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Post Graduate (NEET-PG) 2025, scheduled for June 15, be conducted in a single shift rather than two. A bench led by Justice Vikram Nath instructed the relevant authorities to arrange for the exam to be held in one shift and to ensure that full transparency is maintained throughout the process, reported the news agency PTI.
The bench also comprised Justices Sanjay Kumar and N V Anjaria, who said that holding the NEET PG 2025 in two shifts creates “arbitrariness”. “Any two question papers can never be said to be having an identical level of difficulty or ease,” the top court said. The bench passed the order while hearing a plea challenging a notification on holding the NEET-PG 2025 examination in two shifts.
