UPPSC CES Prelims Results 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the results for the Combined State Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024, held on April 20, 2025. Students will be able to check the UPPSC CES prelims PDF on the official website–uppsc.up.nic.in.

The recruitment drive, advertised under No. A-9/E-1/2024, dated December 17, 2024, received a total of 78,798 applications, out of which 31,639 candidates appeared for the UPPSC CES preliminary exam.

Step 1: Visit the official website–uppsc.up.nic.in.

Step 2: Under the notification section, look for the CES prelims result PDF

Step 3: Click on the link and look for the PDF. Students can also press Control and F, and copy their roll number on the box to expedite the process.

Festive offer

Following the evaluation of the CES prelims, 7,358 UPPSC candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the main examination. This year, there are 609 vacancies across the general and special recruitment categories.

The Commission has informed that a separate notification detailing the main exam schedule and application process will be released soon. Candidates are advised to keep a track on the official UPPSC website —uppsc.up.nic.in — for the latest updates and instructions.

UPPSC PCS Mains to be held from June 29

Meanwhile, the Commission has released the dates for the UPPSC State PSC mains examination schedule. The exam will be held between June 29 and July 2. After cracking the UPPSC Prelims, 15,066 candidates will appear for the mains exam.

Through this exam, candidates will be offered jobs in various government departments within the state. Those who successfully pass the UPPSC PCS mains exam will then need to attend an interview.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission exam is a state-level examination to select applicants for various positions within the state government of Uttar Pradesh. The examination is divided into three parts — the preliminary exam, the mains exam, and the interview.
