This year, 22,22,369 students have passed their RBSE Class 8 exam. A total of 6,65,562 boys and 5,99,056 girls appeared for the Rajasthan Class 8 exam in 2025. Among them, 6,39,840 boys and 5,82,529 girls successfully cleared the exam.
RBSE Class 8 Results: District Highlights
Jaipur recorded the highest number of candidates, with 1,16,665 students appearing for the exam.
Jaisalmer had the lowest number, with only 14,029 candidates.
The top five performing districts in terms of results were: Sikar, Dausa, Ajmer, Nagaur, and Churu.
The bottom five districts with the lowest performance were: Dholpur, Baran, Pali, Chittorgarh, and Karauli.

RBSE Rajasthan Board 8th Result 2025: Passing criteria
To pass the RBSE Class 8 board exams, students must score at least 33 per cent marks in each subject and in aggregate. If a student scores below 33 per cent in more than two subjects, they will be considered as failed and may need to repeat the academic year.

Students can access their RBSE Rajasthan Board results online, with individual marks and overall scores displayed on the official result portal. Authorities have advised students to download their results or take a screenshot for future reference, as the online mark sheets provided are provisional in nature. The RBSE further informed that official mark sheets and certificates will be distributed to students through their respective schools in the coming days.
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) in 2024 announced the results for the Class 8 board examinations on May 17. In 2024, over 13 lakh students had registered for the exams, with 13,05,355 appearing and an impressive 12,33,702 successfully clearing the tests with a overall pass percentage of 94.50 per cent.
