This year, a total of 3,93,618 students appeared for the CHSE examinations. Among them, 2,47,391 were from the Arts stream, 1,14,980 from Science, 25,526 from Commerce, and 5,721 from Vocational Education.
This year, the CHSE conducted the Class 12 or Odisha +2 examinations from February 18 to March 27, 2025. The exams were held in offline pen-and-paper mode, scheduled daily from 10 am to 1 pm. On the first day of the examinations, over 1.14 lakh students from the Science stream appeared at 1,276 designated exam centres across the state, indicating the scale and importance of the assessment process.

Similarly, in 2020, the Science results were published on August 12, while Commerce and Arts results were announced later on September 5.
