HPBOSE Class 12th Result 2025 Date And Time: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) announced the Class 12 results for the academic year 2024–25. This year, a total of 86,373 students appeared for the HPBOSE Class 12 exams. Of them, as many as 71,591 students passed. According to reports, 83.16% students pass HPBOSE 12th Class exam this year, a 9.7% increase since last year.
This year, girls bagged the top three positions. Mehak of St. DR Public Sr Sec School, Gagret, has topped in the science stream as wells as the overall Class 12 HPBOSE 2025 exam by scoring 97.2 per cent marks.
Three students — Khushi, Jahnavi Thakur and Ankita — have bagged the second position in the HPBOSE Class 12 exam 2025, scoring 96.6 per cent marks each. Khushi is from Dhauladhar Public Sr Sec School, Shamnagar (Dharmshala). Jahnavi Thakur is from Bharti Vidyapeeth Public Sr Sec School and Baijnath and Ankita is from Government Sr Sec School, Rait.
Seven students — Kanak Sharma, Kanika, Krish Lahoria, Navneet Kaur, Palak Thakur, Payal Sharma and Riya Ranga — shared the third position. All of them scored 96.2 per cent.
Payal Sharma topped in the Commerce stream, scoring 482 marks out of 500 or 96.4 per cent. Ankita has topped the HPBOSE Arts stream exam, scoring 483 marks or 96.6 per cent.
Girls outshone boys yet again in the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) Class 12 examinations, and out of the 75 students in the top-10 merit list announced by the HPBOSE on Saturday, 61 are girls and 14 boys.
HPBOSE Chairman and Deputy Commissioner of Kangra, Hemraj Bairwa, announced the results during a press conference here. The overall pass percentage improved by about 10 per cent from 73.76 per cent in 2024 to 83.16 per cent in 2025.

A total of 86,373 students appeared for the examinations this year. Of these, 71,591 students passed, 5,847 were placed in the compartment category, and 8,581 students failed. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri congratulated all the students who have successfully cleared the class 12 examination.
To check the result, students must enter their roll number as mentioned on the admit card.

How to check HPBoSE Class 12 result on DigiLocker
Step 1. Go to DigiLocker’s official website — digilocker.gov.in
Step 2. Sign in using your account or sign up for a new one.
Step 3. Click on HPBoSE 12th Result in the home screen once available.
Step 4: Enter the required credentials as per your HPBOSE Class 12 admit card.
Step 5: View the CBSE marksheet and download it.

This year, the board had to reschedule the Class 12 English paper. Initially set for March 8, it was conducted on March 25 in the second shift, from 2 PM to 5 PM. The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) had decided to postpone the exam following reports of a suspected paper leak.
Last year, 63,092 out of 85,777 students successfully passed the HP Board 12th exam, bringing the pass percentage bringing the pass rate to 73.46%, a decline of 5.64% from 2023, when it recorded 79.4%.
In 2024, the topper of the HPBoSE Class 12 Science stream was Kamakshi Sharma who scored 494 marks (98.8 per cent). From Arts and Commerce, Arshita and Shavya topped the exams, both scoring 490 marks (98%). A total of 41 students secured positions within the top 10 rankings in the HP Board 12th results. Among them, 30 were female students.
On May 15, HPBoSE declared the Class 10 board examination results. This year, the pass percentage for HPBOSE Class 10th is 79.8 per cent. Last year, it was 74.61 per cent. Saina Thakur from Neugal Model Public Senior Secondary School Bhawarna, topped the Class 10 state board with a passing percentage of 99.43, followed by Ridhima Sharma (99.29%) and Mudita Sharma (99.14%). This year, 95495 students appeared for the Class 12 exam with 75862 candidates passing the exam.
