TN Board SSLC 10th Result 2025: Girls outperform boys
According to the Tamil Nadu SSLC (Class 10) results data from recent years, girls have consistently outperformed boys in terms of pass percentage. In 2025, both boys and girls achieved a perfect pass percentage of 100%.
However, looking at the previous years reveals a clear trend. In 2024, the pass percentage for girls was 94.38%, notably higher than the boys’ 85.83%. Similarly, in 2023, girls recorded a pass percentage of 94.66% compared to boys’ 88.16%.
The pattern continues in 2022 with girls at 94.53% and boys at 88.58%, and in 2021, girls secured 95.88% while boys achieved 91.74%. These statistics clearly indicate that girls have consistently outshined boys in SSLC exam performance over the years.
TN Board SSLC 10th Result 2025: Private schools record better pass percentages
According to the Tamil Nadu SSLC 2025 results, private schools recorded a higher pass rate at 97.99%, compared to government schools at 91.26%. Overall, 93.80% of students across all school categories passed the exam. Here’s a detailed overview on pass percentages among government schools, aided and private schools:

The students who appeared for the exams can check and download their scorecards from the official websites using their roll number and date of birth mentioned on their TN hall tickets. The TNDGE board SSLC Class 10 exams were held between March 28 and April 15, 2025. The practical component of the TN board class 10 exams was conducted by board from February 22 to 28.

Tamil Nadu SSLC 10th Result 2025: How to check marks roll number-wise?
The Class 10 marksheet will have the marks scored by students in different subjects. To collect the SSLC Class 12 original mark sheets, students need to visit their respective schools a few days after the result declaration. Information about the supplementary exams will be announced soon.
Meanwhile, the HSE result is out. The pass percentage is 92.09%.
