A total of 8,07,098 students, including 4,24,610 girls and 3,82,488 boys, have registered for their TN +1 exam this year. As many as 7,43,232 girls have passed, of which 4,03,949 are girls and 3,39,283 are boys.

The students who appeared for the  TNDGE Class 11 exams can check their results and download scorecards from the official websites of the board using their roll number.

In the Tamil Nadu Class 11 exam results, among language subjects, English recorded a pass percentage of 98.41%, while the general Language paper stood at 97.29%, and Advanced Tamil at 97.37%. Communicative English saw one of the highest pass rates at 99.83%.

In the science stream, Physics had a 98% pass rate, Chemistry 97.54%, and Biology 98.05%. Botany and Zoology followed with 95.63% and 97.09% respectively, while Micro-Biology stood at 98.66%. Bio-Chemistry and Basic Civil Engineering achieved a perfect 100% pass rate. Other strong performers included Nutrition & Dietetics (99.30%), Nursing General (98.81%), and Food Service Management (98.51%).

In Mathematics-related subjects, core Mathematics had a pass rate of 97.74%, Statistics stood out with 99.40%, while Business Mathematics and Statistics recorded 94.39%. Computer Science excelled with a 99.75% pass percentage, closely followed by Computer Applications at 98.48% and Employability Skills at 99.78%. In the social sciences and commerce stream, Geography recorded 98.37%, History 94.35%, Political Science 94.90%, and Economics 93.48%.

Commerce and Accountancy had pass rates of 95.22% and 94.04% respectively, while Ethics and Indian Culture posted 97.66%, and Office Management and Secretaryship 94.55%.

Vocational and technical subjects also showed strong outcomes. Textile Technology and Basic Civil Engineering both achieved 100% pass rates. Textiles and Dress Designing had a near-perfect score of 99.47%, followed by Home Science (99.65%) and Basic Automobile Engineering (96.70%). Other engineering subjects like Basic Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering recorded 96.20%, 93.50%, and 97.13% respectively. Agricultural Science reported a 95.45% pass rate. Overall, the results reflect a strong academic performance by Class 11 students across various streams in Tamil Nadu.

This year, the Tamil Nadu Board conducted the Class 11 Board exams between March 5 and March 27. The practical component of the TN Board Class 11 exams was conducted from February 15 to 21.

The Tamil Nadu board +1 HSE marksheet will include details such as name of the student, registration number, total subject-wise marks, internal marks, theory marks, practical marks, aggregate marks, qualifying status (pass or fail), and more. 

Students must note that the scorecard will be provisional, hence, the students are required to collect the original mark sheet from their schools.

Last year, the Tamil Nadu Board +1 HSE exams results were announced on May 14, 2024. The  TN Board Class 12 exams last year were held between March 4 to March 25.

The overall pass percentage last year was 91.17 per cent. The pass percentage last year increased slightly to 91.17 per cent from 90.93 per cent in 2023.

A total of 8,11,172  students appeared for the TN Board Class 11 exam last year, out of which 4,26,821 were girls and 3,84,351 were boys. The overall pass percentage was 91.17 per cent, with the male pass percentage being 87.26 per cent and the female pass percentage being 94.69 per cent.
