UPSC CSE Mains Result 2024 at upsc.gov.in: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today declared the Civil Services mains result 2023. Aspirants who took the exam can check the merit list at the official website – upsc.gov.in.

This year, Aditya Srivastava and Animesh Pradhan have scored AIR 1 and 2 respectively, followed by Donuru Ananya Reddy at the third spot.

A total number of 1016 candidates have been recommended for appointment. The roll number of candidates who have qualified the exam has been released by the UPSC. The candidature of 355 recommended candidates has been kept provisional and as many as 240 candidates have been put in a reserved list.

According to the UPSC data shared today, the government has reported 1,143 vacancies — 180 in IAS, 37 in IPS, 200 in IPS, 613 posts in different central Group A services and 113 in Group B services — to be filled through the civil services examination 2023.

The CSE main exam was held in subjective mode over two shifts from September 15 to September 24. Each shift lasted three hours, held in the morning from 9 am to 12 pm and afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Step 1: Go to the official website —  upsc.gov.in

Step 2: Navigate to the result link on the home page

Step 3: A new tab will be opened in the form of a PDF

Step 4: Search for your roll number in the PDF.

Step 4: Download the PDF and take a print out for future reference.

A total of 347 general candidates have been nominated, 116 EWS category candidates, 303 OBC, 165 SC and 86 ST candidates. The recommended candidates also include 30 persons with benchmark disability (16 orthopedically handicapped, six visually challenged, five hearing impaired and three with multiple disabilities).

Out of the total 10,16,850 candidates applying for the UPSC Civil Services examination, as many as 5,92,141 candidates actually appeared. Of them, 14,624 candidates qualified for the UPSC CSE Main (written) exam and a total of 2,855 candidates qualified for the interview and personality test of the examination.

UPSC also has set up a “facilitation counter” near the examination hall in its campus. “Candidates can obtain any information/clarification regarding their examinations/recruitments on the working days between 10:00 hours to 17:00 hours in person or over telephone nos. 23385271/23381125/23098543,” the commission said.
