The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) today announced the date sheet for the Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) public theory exams. The NIOS theory exams are for April/May 2024 session. The date sheet is available at their official website— sdmis.nios.ac.in.
The NIOS exams will be conducted from April 6 to May 22, 2024 across all designated exam centers within India and overseas for both the classes. Most exams will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, while multiple papers will get over at 4 pm, 4:30pm and 5 pm.

Step 1: Visit the official website—sdmis.nios.ac.in
Step 2: Navigate to “Important link” section on the Homepage
Step 3: Click on the notification for the Public Exam (Theory) Date Sheet under Important Links
Step 4: Choose the appropriate date sheet (India or Overseas) based on your preference
Step 5: View and download the pdf for future use.
The candidate can download their admit card from the official website and the result is expected to be released seven weeks after the last date of the examination.
The first exam for secondary Class 10 is Sanskrit and will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm and the exams will conclude with certificate in basic computing, cutting and tailor, dress making, beauty care and hair care, beauty therapy and hair care and styling.

The first exam for Class 12 senior secondary class is veda adhyayan, early childhood care and education, and employability skills and entrepreneurship. The exams will conclude with house keeping, data and entry operations, web development, CRM domestic voice, hotel front office operations, computer and office application, and catering management.
